I spent most summers since I was about 5 years old at our family cottage. Several times each summer I would ask my dad to take me down to the beaver dam. We would pile into our row boat and dad would row us across the lake and down through this inlet until we reached the end where the beavers had built a dam. The memories of being on the lake with my dad, seeing the wildlife and enjoying the view are priceless to me.
