I had the privilege of meeting this woman while visiting Ethiopia with Tearfund Canada. We spent some time at her farm where she has begun to employ conservation agriculture techniques. The changes she has implemented substantially increased the yield of her crops which resulted in her family becoming self-sufficient. Tearfund Canada commissioned this piece.
