Grateful

Early in 2020, I had the opportunity to travel to Ethiopia with Tearfund Canada to visit several of their development projects. One day we visited the farm of this young girl. Her parents have begun to employ conservation agriculture techniques which have resulted in a significant increase in crop yields. Prior to this, they were financially unable to send her to school. But now the family has enough money from the sale of their surplus crops that she is able to attend school. She was so very grateful when she found out that we were visiting with the organization that had made this possible for her.
